Is it worth backing who will replace Rafael Benitez at Newcastle United?

The major issue for Newcastle United at the moment concerns the future of their manager Rafael Benitez, following their promotion to the Premier League. Rumours are rampant that he may leave the club unless he is given sufficient transfer spending money.

One of the best places to check out the reality behind the rumours is via the bookies, if the odds are low then that gives credence to the rumours, if the odds are high, then that should tell you the value of the rumours, and it will always pay to check out new betting sites before you make a decision on what to bet on.

There would be no shortage of takers to fill the Newcastle hot seat if Bentiez did decide to leave the club, but the chances of that happening are probably slim.

Benitez decided to stay at St James when they were relegated last season, why would he then choose to jump ship once has taken them back to the Premier League, it makes no sense.

Newcastle will be getting their hands on some serious money from the Sky sports deal and you can take it to the bank that owner Mike Ashley, will invest some of that money into strengthening the squad. Ashley is a shrewd businessman, he will not risk losing such a high quality manager like Benitez and risk a quick return to the Championship.

Ashley will provide Benitez with a decent amount of money to make the Toon army competitive next season, it is unlikely they will challenge for the title, but mid table would be more than good enough for a team just promoted.

If you are going to bet on the managers markets it would be best to steer clear of the Newcastle United managerial specials, no matter what the gossip columns are peddling.
