Chelsea star wants to return to his former club as soon as his current deal expires

Pedro wants to retire at Barcelona according to Don Balon and he is prepared to make the switch back to Camp Nou when his current deal expires.

Per the Spanish media outlet, the 30 years old does not feel his performances in the English Premier League are being considered when the Spanish national team players are selected and he believes playing in the La Liga would do his chances of regularly playing for the national team a lot of good.

He has been impressive at Stamford Bridge since he joined the Blues in 2015, but he has not been as successful trophy-wise as he was when he turned out for the Catalans.

The Spaniard has netted six times as well as providing four more assists for the Blues in all competitions this season.

Don Balon claims he is so desperate to re-join Barcelona that he would not even consider signing a new Chelsea deal should the Blues open talks over an extension.

However, he would find it hard to break into Ernesto Valverde’s side if he does make the emotional return to Camp Nou with so many younger players now at the club, he would still have to become a backup to other first-team stars.
