Chelsea have opened the door for Eden Hazard to join Real Madrid next summer, but they need a Galactico in exchange.
The Blues know they are playing a losing game in their bid to keep Hazard out of the reach of the European champions especially after the Belgian refused to sign a new Blues deal this season.
The Blues have offered him £300,000 per week, but he has asked for negotiations to be suspended until this season is over. This has caused many of the club’s fans to question his commitment.
Don Balon is reporting that the Blues have decided to prepare themselves for the possibility of the Belgian leaving after this season, but they want Gareth Bale in exchange.
Real Madrid’s bad season has opened Bale up for criticisms and he has become a target for the Real Madrid boo boys. This season looks likely to be his last at the Bernabeu and a move to the Premier League is his preferred option.
Although Manchester United are also interested in making Bale their marquee signing next summer, Chelsea would tell Madrid they can only get Hazard if the Welsh man joins them.
