Isaac Christie-Davies is set to follow in the footsteps of Dominic Solanke and become the next Chelsea youngster to join Liverpool for free in the last two years.
The 20 years old has failed to impress Antonio Conte enough to earn a new Blues deal and has reportedly made up his mind to ditch Stamford for Anfield with Jurgen Klopp keen on making him another new signing.
Solanke who is also 20 joined the Reds last summer for free after his deal expired at Stamford Bridge and while he was afforded only 17 minutes of first team football during his time at Stamford Bridge, he has played more than 500 minutes of football for Liverpool and scored his first senior goal in their final day win over Brighton.
Isaac Christie-Davies is a box-to-box player and has been starring for the Blues’ youth team over the years, winning the FA Youth Cup back to back between 2015 and 2016.
Solanke would be tasked with helping Davies settle at Anfield and Jurgen Klopp is hoping the England teenager can hit the ground running immediately as the Reds need more bodies in midfield to cover for injuries and suspension after the latter threatened to derail their season this year.
